Throw another mock on the fire
Trade down with Buffalo, get their 1st, 2nd, 5th and a 2nd next year.
1 (8) : DE/OLB Ziggy Ansah - can never have enough pass rushers 2 (41) : WR DeAndre Hopkins - more depth at WR 3 (63) : OT Terron Armstead - talented small school player 3 (comp) : QB Tyler Bray - has time to watch and develop 4 (96) : ILB Jon Bostic - immediate playing time available 5 (127) : RB Andre Ellington - playmaker for the offense 5 (136) : S DJ Swearinger - will put a lick on you, special teams guy I have to think that the closer we get to the draft, the more noise we'll hear about top 10 teams that want a QB (Geno). We're willing to sell that top pick at a discount, so Buffalo trades up. The need something to sell their fans, and the top Qb fits the bill. |

I think that despite the big arm, most teams see him as being able to play 3 years from now. Not many teams willing to invest a 1st/2nd round pick for a guy not likely to play for 2 to 3 years. Chiefs now have that luxury.

There is something about Bray that intrigues me. If we trade down and do not pick Geno I would love to see what Reid & Co. could do with Bray.

While I think that would be an amazing haul of players, every one of those guys would surprise me if they were available there, save Bostic.
But who knows? |

WR is really deep, and Hopkins ran 4.5+, so he could pretty easily be there at 41. Armstead has supposedly been moving up, so that one is probably a stretch. I think teams will continue to be turned off by Bray for the same reasons he should have stayed in school. Allows him to fall to 3rd round. We'll see on Ellington, but RB's tend to fall. There's a bit of wishful thinking here (starting with the trade), but that's what a homer mock is for I guess.

This is my thought on the value of that trade (from Buffalo's perspective)
