Mahomes Robbed at Gunpoint

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
Patrick Mahomes II was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Smith County on Friday.

On May 12, Smith County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence located in the 8800 block of Mansion Creek Circle in reference to an Aggravated Robbery.

Upon arrival deputies met with four individuals who stated that they had been robbed by a white male suspect who they believed to be armed with a handgun. One of the individuals robbed was Mr. Patrick Mahomes II.

As the victims were getting out of their vehicle, the suspect pulled into the driveway.

As the suspect approached the victims, he was seen gesturing as if he had a handgun in his waistband. The suspect then demanded property from the victims.

The suspect fled the location in his vehicle.

After deputies arrived and spoke with the victims they were able to locate the suspect's vehicle which was occupied by two males. A stop of the vehicle was performed near County Road 273 and Malisa Circle.

Two suspects were taken into custody. Michael Blake Pinkerton, 34, and Billy Ray Johnson, 58, were both arrested and taken to the Smith County Jail.

No one was injured. Property taken during the robbery was recovered from the suspect’s vehicle.

The Smith County Sheriff's Office says the investigation is active and ongoing.

Thank God nothing worse happened, because it would have been the most Chiefs thing ever to, after a generation of ignoring QB in the first round, trading up and getting our guy to only have a couple of bumpkins knock him off in an armed robbery.

Geez.

This is an understatement, but what percentage of common criminals are as smart as the ones you see in the movies? Like... .0034 percent? Every instance of theft I've encountered in my personal life through people I knew was committed by morons who were caught within like, 2 hours of performing the robbery. This genious (CP spelling) here decided to drive up with his own registered vehicle without even removing his goddamn license plates.

He guy may as well have said, "Stick'em up. I want all your wallets and purses in this bag. And remember the name Michael Blake Pinkerton! I'll always be lurking, waiting to rob your family again! Remember that name well! That's Michael, spelled the normal way, ending in "a-e-l," and Pinkteron ends in "t-o-n." Feel free to grab a notepad from your glove compartment and write that down. Here's a pen. It's got my father's car dealership on there--- Pinkerton Ford and Honda--- yep, that's the address and the phone number. Oh, and just in case you're gonna try to hunt me down, I'd like to see you try, because I'll just kick your asses and rob you again. Come and ****ing get me, I'm not scared of you. I live at 3422 Buttplug Street in Amarillo. Yeah, out of town. You know that Burger King on 45th close to the mall? Yeah, those townhomes behind there. 6th one from the corner. If you get to the one with red oak siding, you've gone too far."
