The Fast Food Burger Poll
As a spinoff from the Culver's thread, here's a poll about fast food burger joints. I'm putting up the normal poll for all you lazy asses out there, but it really makes more sense to rate them all individually rather than just picking your favorite (since favorites will largely depend on what places you've actually tried). Because of that, here's a slightly more in-depth poll that I'll report on the results of in a few days.

5 guys is legit.. But last time I ate there my meal was $11. I can get a just as good burger at a sit down place + a beer for that almost any night of the week in Lawrence.

It is definitely a bit pricy. But hell even Wendy's or McDonalds can cost a good 7 or 8 bucks for a "value" meal these days.

Five Guys wasn't worth the price IMO. Best place is Fuddruckers hands down.

It was always the best burger in town when I lived in Wichita. A friend of mine Ray Larkin (RIP) owned it and I have heard the fine tradition is still alive and well today. Don't order one unless you are hungry, they are large and tasty!

The best burger I have ate comes off my grill.
Working out west the crew harped and harped on trying In&Out. Was just ho hummm and a bit of a letdown after all you read about them. I think its not so much people like the burger its that they are told they are supposed to like it. And the legend continues. I can get a burger at Town Topic on Broadway that blows In & out away so bad its not funny. How in the world does White Castle get any votes? I liked WhatAburger when I worked in Tulsa and OKC. I generally do my burgers at home and save my cash for a nice steak out somewhere than spend Steak money on ground beef at a overpriced over hyped gourmet burger joint. |
