Maybe Tharpe got pissed that he couldn't get a guarantee of being a starter. Maybe he's tired of people hoping he would transfer and said "**** it."

It isn't typical Bill Self to run off a senior starter. Hell... Sherron did way worse stuff than boning cougars.

Yeah, possibly. Weeks ago, Self said we could be adding 1 or 2 more players. So he had to know that losing one of our returning players was on the table.
