Bwana is a solid dude, and I made a joke that came off as rude~

Yeah, I certainly don't deserve any credit at all. I was working and couldn't even hope to check in frequent enough to keep up with it. Not to mention I'm not exactly the quickest trigger around here when it comes to that stuff.

Yes, my people. I am back from the darkness. I shall choose to keep my experiences private, but I will say this: it doesn't get any easier. Each new ban hurts as much as the first. But this is the life I have chosen, and it is the life I must lead.

Do I agree with The Moderators' decision to ban me? No. Do I understand it? Yes. I had been banned before for the same offense, so I was certainly teasing the fates with my behavior. I had hoped that we, as a board, had progressed to a point where it was finally acceptable to post 20 consecutive high definition images of hushpuppies, shrimp, and fried fish in a single thread. My hopes were once again dashed. I will let this fight, which I believe is a righteous one, rest. For now. I believe I can be more effective as a free man, with the ability to start an open and constructive dialogue on this most pressing of social matters. I hereby pledge not to be disruptive in such a manner. And if I should break that pledge, I understand that a mod may feel the need to take similar action. Nobody need cry for me.

Am I the Nelson Mandela of chain seafood JPEGs? Maybe. Yes. I am. And you know what happened after Mandela's wrongful 27 year imprisonment?

He became the President.

Thank you.

I skimmed through this pretty quickly and somehow missed the entire paragraph devoted to thanking a particularly generous and merciful mod for not actually banning you for 5 months and keeping it under 3 days. I'm sure it was very well-written and heartfelt. You're very welcome, Mr. President of some shitty country nobody cares about.

Would that have been immensely satisfying? Yes. But this is not a suicide mission. It is a movement. And I want to see it through... in this world.
