Guess which offensive lineman had the worst blown block rate in 2013 (min. 500 snaps)

Hint: he's a high draft pick.

Spoiler!

The team had the plan of starting him at LT his second season in the league when he was drafted. It's pretty obvious.

But damn... they had to have been seeing his play on the field last fall and thinking to themselves, "What the **** did we do?"

He was pretty freakin bad.

I think he made it to week 5 or 6 or something like that, because I was already that close to winning my Joeckel bet with Direckshun. He allowed like 5 sacks or something like that when he got injured?

Think about the absolute horseshit we've had at the RT position in the last decade or so.

Winston
Richardson
O'Callaghan
McIntosh
Terry
Sampson
Welbourn

Fisher made these guys look like ****ing All-Pros.

But he isn't a RT. Drafting an OG 2nd overall is an obvious fail, but Greg Robinson starting out at OG doesn't mean the Rams drafted an OG.

Unless, we're going off of the gangsta rap definition of OG, in which case the Rams absolutely did.

You know its a poor draft crop when the top 2 prospects are Fisher and Joeckel.

Ill never fault the Chiefs for taking one of those guys. Its not their fault they had jack and shit to choose from.

For me, it was

1. Fisher
2. Ansah
3. Warmack
4. Joeckel
5. Mingo
6. Jordan
7. Cooper
8. Johnson
9. Fluker
10. Austin

Pretty rough.

That's such a bullshit cop-out.

Look at the players selected after Fisher. There's a lot of super talented players that did pretty well as rookies.

No one forced them to take the dipshit from North Dakota State School for the Deaf and Blind. The talent was out there, they just chose poorly.

Joeckel had arguably the worst season out of any top 10 pick. Jonathan Cooper didn't play a snap. Dion Jordan sucked and was rumored to be on the trading block this offseason. Warmack was underwhelming. Mingo was dominated for the majority of the season. Tavon Austin finished with 40 catches for 400 yards. Lane Johnson is now facing a 4 game PED suspension and sucked last year. Ansah was good, but is obviously not a scheme fit.

Who am I missing? And before you say "trade down", God knows we tried.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only tackle to do well last year was Lane Johnson, Eagles...

...and he just got suspended for the first 4 games for using a banned substance.

We got 2009'd again last year. Shit draft year, the same year we have a high pick.

The Chiefs have not mastered the art of the tank like the Colts have.

10 sacks and a -7.7 PFF grade last year. I wouldn't say he did too well.
