Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?

Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

Some fluids are known to warp or crack plastic tanks. Banana, cinnamon and some citrus off the top of my head. Also some tanks are made cheaply so they deform from repeated fastening and unfastening. Occasionally you will get a dud that doesn't seal correctly because there are flaws in the manufacturing process and it slipped past quality control. If you drop your tank a lot you will knock pieces loose too. I dropped my Nautilus on a brick porch and it flew apart. I cleaned it and put it back together...worked better than before. I ended up giving it to a friend and she still uses it. You just never know. Generally you get what you pay for.

You might want to try the tobacco sampler from Mister E Liquid. Honey Flue Cured (HFC) worked well for me.

Tanks crack because they get dropped and banged around, I just wore one out stripping the threads by taking it off so many times.

The oil or "juice" is the same but can be applied different ways. Some do a drip application, I just fill and go.

That's what you miss. You eventually realize that it tastes horrible but you still crave it.

Yeah, the MVP is a nice one. A friend of mine does medicinal marijuana off of these little bulbs that look like Xmas tree lights with a 510 connection. I let her hit it off of my Sigelei and she went nuts, lol. I went to the vape store with her talked her into an MVP. She loves it.

I highly recommend, for starters, to get this mod:

https://vaporhq.com/dna-30-box-mod-clone

It will handle anything you put in it, and can get your feet wet with drippers and rebuildables, if you so wish to venture that way. It is also a passthrough, so you never need to remove the battery to charge it. You can also charge it while using it, so you don't need a backup battery. Just make sure you put the battery in correctly. The mod doesn't have reverse battery protection, so reverse polarity will fry the chip, bricking your mod.

You will also need this battery for the mod. Great life, great discharge rate.

This tank is great for starters. I have had mine for well over 2 years, no issues. Easy to change the coil and cheap as well. The tank is Pyrex, so there will be no melting or warping of the tank with any flavor you put in it.

My new version 2.0 atomizers for the Atlantis came in today. Not bad at all and performs well over a wide range of wattage. I have been able to vape it with acceptable results from 15 watts to 75 watts. Took some quick hits at 100 watts and it worked as well.

Meh. He wants "open the box and go." I'd suggest an MVP. The new MVP Pro 3.0 is much simpler but more powerful and costs five bucks less:
