Who is the worst player on the Chiefs?

A post in another thread got me thinking about this today. We all know certain positions get more blame than others because they impact the team more. However, if you took away that factor, which Chiefs' player is the worst at doing his specific job?

I'll list the majority of the players that see a significant amount of playing time in a poll (gonna take a few minutes). If you do not see the player you believe to be the worst, please mention them in your post.

As for your post, when I was thinking of posting this thread, I largely agreed with your first statement. I had trouble thinking of a player that was just flat out bad at his job. I think the Chiefs do have a very solid roster.

As I went through the list of players while creating the poll, though, quite a few names stuck out. Maybe not flat out bad players, but certainly underwhelming players, and players that have made key mistakes throughout the year.

A number of them have been mentioned. Harris, Davis, and Reid, just to name a few.

I also really like Dane's mention of Acker. He's been a disappointment.
Jah Reid has a soft spot in my hard because he gave some good shit back to a Ravens fan when I went to my first game last year. He's a backup lineman. I guess I don't pay enough attention to the salaries to care about that kind of thing.

As someone who lived in Philly at the time that Maclin was drafted, I thought they were dumb as shit. I referred to him as Mr. Glass because of his "time" at Mizzou. But then he was great there. He hasn't been as consistent here, but then again, I feel like the Chiefs run the ball more than Andy's Philly's teams did.

Alex is the best we have, and I really don't want anyone else unless we draft someone. And even then, I want WR with glue on their hands. And ones who get pass interference called.

That was the biggest call/non call of the night.

That's on them, though. They gave him the contract. As you mentioned though, it's vet minimum time for him, or else he's being overpaid.
It really hurts as a PA native. I love Hali. Amazing life story, Penn State grad, and a Chief for his whole career. The worst part for me is that they didn't play him a lot towards the end and he still didn't do anything while James Harrison is in better shape than Hali (7 years his junior or so).

Granted Ford and Houston didn't do anything either... except for ****ing guard Antonio Brown. SERIUOSLY WTF.

OK, so that's the 2 big WTFs from the game. The Kelce non-call on PI and Houston guarding Brown TWICE. The 40+ gain and the 1st down to ice the game.

God I hope NE wins.

Simple.

Alex Smith and Jeremy Maclin.

Both need to be cut next season.

And Tamba Hali needs to retire. He's practically worthless at this stage in his career. He was great for the Chiefs and I understand he wants that SB and knows this team is close so he's stretching out his career. But it's time. Unless he's playing for vet min he should be released immediately.
Money has nothing to do with who is the worst at their specific job, that's the question.

Right? The Fisher call... it wasn't wrong. It just wasn't egregious. There were two views - one looked like amazing blocking, the other looked like some light holding. In the end, I understood it. I don't have to like it.

But this call was terrible. And it stalled us RIGHT out of the ****ing half time. Completely different 2nd half even if we only make it 10-12.

Technically correct, but I think the point is that we all agree that quality of play vs. paid contract is a better indicator than just quality on the Chiefs.

OK, again, looking at this comment.

100 thousand percent Knile ****ing Davis. He's terrible on all levels.

And if our backups are the worst players on the team... isn't that a good thing?

That's not what the poll is about, it's trying to drive a different conversation on the board, one other than Alex Smith.
We all know he's the highest paid. If money is involved in the decision it's obviously him. And then the conversation is centered on him once a****ingain.

So the op leaves that out so the conversation can go a different direction.

In other words: shut the **** up about Alex Smith.

That's also a good one. When Terrance Mitchell is the savior of the Chiefs secondary because Gaines is "hurt"...

Gaines had a good few games last year and then crapped out. Terribly. Just ask Ben.

So yes, I agree with Knile and Gaines. Please leave to those two.

And to really make it worse, I still don't think Alex is terrible even for his pay. I like first downs just as much as 40 yard throws. It's all about the %...

ALTHOUGH - it did seem like Alex was less accurate than normal after getting his clock cleaned, but then again, maybe that was because he was throwing a bit more down the field. And add in the lack of running, his whole attack mode became less palatable than previous seasons...

DAT.

All other players at least did something like score a TD, score a 2 Pt conversion or get an INT. DAT did nothing.

Hell he actually sucked so bad he didn't score an easy TD. **** him
