Do you clean up in the kitchen before eating your meal?

I prefer to clean the pots and pans etc. before sitting down to eat. After a meal, the most I want to do is clean my plate off.

What is your experience with this matter?

If you have a wife who does all this, good on you!

Poll to follow.

I put my leftovers in either a glass container with a lid or Tupperware. It ruins your pans to keep the food in it. Well, at least, it ruins the kind I have.

That unless it's a casserole ceramic pan or something like that--not my heavy stainless steel.
