Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.

Thanks guys. I know the drops are a long shot, but after weeklies on all 3 builds and the first daily PE drops on all 3 I should only need a handful more via however else.

I know I've heard of people getting them as rewards for gold tier, but I can't remember getting one other than the first myself.

I'm thinking the blues seem to drop for me most on Venus (that area on the way to the archive with the downed ship seems to spawn constantly), but I was also thinking running Black Garden on the highest difficulty available might do as well. Hadn't thought of Exclusion zone. That low area just off the LZ is a pretty much constant spawn as well...

If you don't have alts that have 27 or higher you can create a new Guardian thats the same class as your Primary. Level him/her up to 20 and swap your primary guardians armor to your alt then run the Nightfall + Archon Priest Strike + You get a SC for your first gold PE of the day on any given character + find all the gold chests on Mars (here's the URL to a video with all the locations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH4qtD_ag_k ) = at least +12 SCs. Should take you around 8-10 hours. If you have a GF/Wife kiss her goodbye for the weekend!

It's a sniper rifle that regenerates its own ammo. Everybody should get one if possible.

Well, I'm a level 27 what do I need to do to obtain this gun and how long will it take?

I don't think I have the gold chest on mars yet. I also don't have anyone to run nightfalls with. Also, it seems most nightfalls are above my level.

Go on YouTube and watch the gold chest run on Mars. It'll save you lots of frustration.

Yes, you want the ice breaker. It makes the game infinitely better.

I believe you mean weekly heroic. Nightfall CAN drop coins, but it is rare.

Heroic gives you engrams and ascendant materials + adds for degree of difficulty. Weekly Nightfalls give you 3 strange coins for a level 26 run but allow stacking so a level level 28 gives you 6 but a level 30 completion gives you a weekly allotment of 9 per character.
