Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Tried running two 25's through the weekly heroic on 28...that was a fail. Anyone doing it tonight? Nightfall strike would work too.

We were kicking ass on hard mode last night. Got to Atheon within 90 minutes and really only stumbled at the Gatekeepers right before him. Then it was glitch city. Had him down to 5% and the relic shield stops working, 3 dead. Got him down to 10% again and he teleports 2, 1 is somehow in a containment field. The 3rd glitch sent us all to bed, 2 supplicants come through the portal and kill everyone that went through. There were of course other fails that were totally our fault but 3 instances where he's down to 10% or less and we get totally screwed.

The good news is that one of our regulars that constantly gets screwed had his best raid yet. Got boots, gloves and Fatebringer, which has to be one of the best guns in the game.

I scored the pulse riffle that does arc damage so I now have 3 primaries that cover all 3 elemental damage options. This should help out a lot in future Nightfalls.

Do you guys want to schedule another CP raid run this week?

I'd be up for it, although my sleep's all screwed up so I haven't been on evenings. Just finished the nightfall and heroic at 8:30 am, still up from yesterday...

Should we shoot for Sunday evening again or would a weekday evening work? 8pm is the best time to start one IMO.

Normally any night would work but I'll probably be asleep at 8 tonight and have tickets for Interstellar tomorrow (thur) night. Anytime friday thru Monday would be fine.

Picked it up again tonight and got stuck at the place on Venus with the gates that you have to shut down. I tried shooting them and throwing grenades at them and nothing. WTF am I missing here.

Hard, or normal? The conflux, is the hardest part of the raid.
