Fisher playing left tackle is not what I was talking about.

You would rather have Albert play a position he has never played before when his skill set doesn't fit it over playing him at the position he played in college and has the potential to be a quality player at?
Look at the advanced stats...Albert is a good pass blocker and is mediocre at run blocking and you want to put him at right tackle? Yeah, no. I also thing LG is a slightly more important position than right tackle and that's backed up by contract dollar amounts for each position. Good left guards get 7-8 million per year...good right tackles get 4-5. If Albert stays, he should play left guard. |

Unless you think Albert is going to sign an extension with the Chiefs, trading Albert is the only thing that makes sense right now with this organization. They didn't pick Fisher to be a RT and unless you believe Albert is going to be a hotter commodity next year with a higher tag on him () then it's the only thing to do that makes sense.
But of course, we did trade for Alex Smith so we are clearly making a SB push this year... so it might be a good idea to hang onto him for this last year. |

Not to mention Fischer already said he is willing to play RT and Albert is not. Dorsey has already done this with Bulaga. |

Okay, so now Fisher is a developmental prospect from a small school who needs to be coddled and eased in? Awesome.

I'm gonna be ****ing furious if Albert is traded.
1.1 needs to IMPROVE THE TEAM. Right now we IMPROVED THE TEAM so let's try to keep it that way.

We drafted Fisher 1.1... wrong. Passing on a 2nd round pick for a 3rd+ round comp pick... wrong. Well... lets go for 3 wrongs. We traded for ****ing Alex Smith |

Don't worry, he's not going to be traded. We are stuck with his $10M dollar disgruntled ass, cock-blocking Fisher from being our LT for this year so we can try to keep Albert happy before he leaves next offseason. The team is so much better now.

Gotta wonder if we will draft another OL with the 54th pick if Albert goes to Miami.
And yes Fisher will be a better LT than Albert was last year. He'll play more games, he'll be better than 17th on PFF and I'll bet that there is a strong chance he'll be the 3rd LT on the AFC team in Hawaii.

a.) Miami is willing to make a deal without giving Albert a physical, or b.) Miami was allowed to give him a physical already and it hasn't been leaked, Then he's not going anywhere. We're stuck, people. Jeff Ireland of all people just outsmarted our new GM. |

I doubt getting a physical done would be that hard to get done. |
