RD 3: OG Matias (FST) - 6'6 325lb

Stalwart Gaurd. "When I watched FST tape to study Erving, I immediately noticed Matias outperforming him. You could start Matias at LG on Day one and if he performs better than the Chiefs incumbent LT Eric Fisher then move him over." - Laddie Morse, Arrowhead Addict

3B: ILB Anthony (CU) - 6'2, 245lb

"When asked to go downhill there aren’t many better at doing it than Anthony. He is able to fill running lanes and is a good enough interior pass rusher to warrant an immediate look... If he does end up getting pushed down boards far enough, someone is going to get an outstanding downhill defender who can immediately contribute as a two down starter." -Profootballspot.com

These are two of my favorite guys in the draft. Matias is my favorite guard prospect in years. I've been watching him since he was a freshman. He can be a very good blocker in a man/inline scheme, but is a truly elite prospect in a zone blocking scheme. He is the quickest OL I have ever seen off the snap. He has a rare ability to pull and lead and maintain downfield, not only reasonably keeping up with the ballcarrier but then finding people to block. I think he's a first round talent.

I mostly agree with what the reviewer said about Anthony but I think he sells his coverage ability short. He is my third favorite ILB behind McKinney (Miss St) and Dawson (TCU).

Ogbuehi I think is overrated. I'm not a fan of his.

I don't really get why Hill is rated as low as he is. I liked him back when Matt Scott was still their QB. He got fewer looks this year but he always seems open. He makes plays on the outside and in the slot. Seemed almost like either Solomon or RichRod didn't like him.

Shaw I really like, too, especially if you have deep help. He completely owned Davante Adams last year.

Eric Rowe I haven't seen much of, but he flashed some really good cover skills against USC this year.

Thank you for the feedback!

Do you feel Matius will be picked in the first round? or that he is a first round talent? I'm hoping Matius and Anthony drop to the third bc G and ILB tend not to be taken early in the draft.

Ogbuehi might not be the best in the draft, but I think he might be the best available in the second round.
