Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo
Just opened a new exhibit today:
\https://www.omaha.com/living/zoo/hen...8b21352e1.html Say what you want about Omaha, but we have the best zoo in the country hands down, and maybe even the world. If you haven't seen it, it's worth the visit. Plan on a day at least, it's friggin' huge. Check out their site: http://www.omahazoo.com/exhibits *InChiefsHell is a citizen of Nebraska but was not paid in any way for this endorsement. He just really thinks the zoo is the shit* |

It's been a few years since I've been there but yeah, it's a pretty cool zoo. Might have to make a day trip up there this summer.

Went there a few years ago. I thought it would be this great animal place that was different from other zoos but sadly it really wasn't. It's just like any other zoo, just bigger really.

Been about 9 years since I went, but it was really nice when we went. My kids, niece, and I got to watch them feed the tigers. They let us get up close and the workers had the tigers stand up against the fence. They were checking the tiger, belly, coats, and claws. The kids still remember that and they were all pretty young at the time. Should take them all back again

I scrolled over the link, and it said 'asian highlands', but for some reason the first phrase that flashed through my head was 'asian nightclub'. I was really intrigued. I'd definitely go to an asian nightclub exhibit.

I always want to call it Henry Doily, but other than that, the zoo does kick some serious ass.

I will toot the horn for Wichita also however. The Sedgwick county zoo and Tanganyika in nearby Goddard are also among the best we've ever been to. They've done real nice jobs at both of those locations. |

Not just me. I bet that if a zoo opened an asian nightclub exhibit, it would immediately become the most successful zoo in the country.
Well, assuming it was southeast Asian. An Iranian or North Korean nightclub exhibit would just languish in the back between some lizard exhibit and a sloth exhibit.
