Ok I am Paranoid
Ok so I listed my motorhome for sale because I want something different... I put a price out there and some dude from Yugoslavia came to look at my motorhome, so I say to myself...


This is probably a waste of time tire kicker, He asked me what my best price was and I backed off a little and gave it to him.... Then he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a stack of money from hell... It bugged me out because rarely do people walk around with that kind of coin on them, Of course I had taken all the precautions.... I had a 45 in the back of my pants, wife was following behind at a distance with a 38 and daughter was advised to stay in the house with a shotgun (you can't be too careful nowadays..)

Dude offered me cash money, I took it, made him sign an "AS IS" bill of sale and the whole deal was done in a matter of an hour or so.

Now I am at home sitting here with thousands and thousands of dollars in my possession until the bank opens wondering if this dude or one of his buddies come back tonite for a random robbery...

Am I paranoid or am I gonna get to try out my AR-15 tonite?

Now about the guns...

This is my property, I have a right to carry a gun on my property or anywhere else for that matter as a CCW carrier.

My wife knows how to handle a gun and shoots well. One of you are telling me I am a fool to bring someone in from craigslist and the other one thinks I am crazy for being armed during the showing and test drive of the vehicle.

I live in a nice neighborhood but crime happens in nice neighborhoods too...


Now I have a bunch of disposable cash to spend... What should I buy?
You should buy preventable rape underwear. Rapes happen in good neighborhoods too.

I think you should run with all that money to the nearest gun store and buy as many guns as you can. That way, they can't take your money. And you can shoot anybody who tries to take your guns. Arm your entire family. Give them all four or five guns. Can't be too careful.

I think it sends a message to the daughter that you should be afraid of everything. I think that can be traumatic to a child, depending on the age (he didn't say how old she is). It is good to teach children that the world can be a bad place and they should be careful, but this seems a little extreme to me. She'll probably spend her life more paranoid than him - and he's pretty paranoid.
