the funny part is one year ago Alex Smith flew to Miami and they didn't want him and he had to beg the 49ers to take him back, all because he got offended about them putting their name in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes

I assume you mean prior to the start of the 2011 season since that didn't happen last year. And the fact they tried to trade Kap to the Eagles before the 2012 draft basically says you really don't know whats happening behind the scenes or know what is really going on. |

I agree that there are a lot of truths in this... That being said, neglecting to face the inconvenient truth about our offense (from any angle you choose to approach it from) is horrible. We have exactly ONE go-to guy on this offense, and he can only do so much.
So we may not be able to do much about it, and I'll even buy (a bit) that Alex doesn't have enough weapons to be world-class, but it's only a bit. He's simply the logistics specialist on the Spec-Op team, he's not the sharp shooter. He's simply missed too many passes to open receivers for that to be the case. And the idea that he's got happy feet because he's so used to being hit (very caASSHOLE'esque!!!) might be a bit true, but points to what might be another problem... So there's blame to go around on the offense, but blindly spreading love around the whole team while also being giddy that we're 8-0 seems a bit short sighted...

to be fair the Chiefs are 0-43 and 0-19, considering the first very likely won't change this year and there's a real shot that the second won't either, people have a right to complain.
If the team was 0-16 with 22 probowlers would we not be able to complain then either?

I love to read this shit... It amazes me how much you Chief fans complain...
Maybe it's because your hearts get ripped out every year... I don't think it's Smiff that's the problem.. I think Bowe is overrated as hell and you rely on JC way too much even though he is an awesome player. Smiff is a good team leader and doesn't make many mistakes. Your offense looks like what Romeo was trying to do last year and Reid just made it work right. 8-8 -9-7 will probably be good enough for the second wildcard so you are probably already in the playoffs |

TP2 still has a lot to learn but this is the perfect year for him to do it, Raiders purged the cap and took all the hits this year. Got 2 good starters so far from the draft... (Sio Moore and Hayden) Hope Charles Woodson will come back for 1 more year. The D is fine I am just glad to see improvement and to see the media eat crow, I don't remember one positive media story in the off season about them. Yall grab your glory this year, Reid has done a good job and yall deserve it but the Raiders will be back next year, maybe even playoff caliber |

They are planning the game for Pryor right now for him to succeed and him being able to extend plays is the whole reason why we have won 3 games. Raiders went ultra conservative in the second half because the D was playing so well, it almost bit them in the ass but they escaped. Pryor is a perfectionist, and will be the real deal when he matures... Remember, he is basically a rookie. |
