You heard Andy. It's his job to find the next Len Dawson. Well, this gives us a pretty good ****ing shot at finding him if we do it this way. Geno pushes Alex for two years, all while not rushing into the NFL and taking his time. The way shit should be done.

Either Alex turns into the super ultra rapey rape QB or we just wait for Geno and give him a shot. It's the perfect way to fix the QB position all in a year when people said there were no good options for any teams out there.
To me, that's the only way to justify the Alex Smith move. Because right now it's reeruned.

I wont eat a GAT damned thing; I've laid out the terms and conditions quite clearly: draft a QB at one/one or get ****ed.

For those that are iffy about Geno's path to be great in the NFL, but think he's clearly got potential...

Would you not agree that the Kansas City situation he would be theoretically walking into is possibly THE BEST way for him to achieve his full potential in the league?

A coaching staff that has a record with QBs

A team that already has some pretty good players in place (especially after Albert and Bowe)

A system he could recognizably adapt to pretty well

No rush/hurry to get in the starting line up and win games immediately

A veteran QB who's supposedly this great teammate and mentor, and is nearly guaranteed to not be around after the two years on his contract are up

You couldn't put a better support system in place for a young QB.

They are still having Geno Smith pro day right? Don't remember what day that is but it's going be the biggest day to tell the Chiefs to pick Geno #1.

I got some renew hope we take Geno draft day. Geno just has to whip it out that is all.

This. Interesting dynamic; im hooked up with three Steeler boards, and they dont have anywhere NEAR the traffic of CP. I equate this with not having much to grouse about when you are the fan of a franchise where you actually CAN "trust the process"...
