Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Anyone know if a pre-HOW Efrideet’s Spear can still be rolled with Final Round? I only have 1 and it's a pretty good roll, so I'd hate to screw it up.

I don't believe that you can roll it with final round any more. All of the old weapons are now on the new rolling system.

Don't get frustrated. It's really luck of the draw. Yesterday morning i kept going up against premades and got rolled for an hour. Maybe went 2-4, 3-5, something like that. Then today I log on and win 4 of the most lopsided games that I've ever been part of, like the first game was close then the others were all 20k-9k or worse.

Iron Banner is actually more fun than regular crucible because you have more non-PvP people (like me...) doing it. My advice is to stick with it, cause you'll get better, don't try to do stuff on your own (you want to be the 3 in a 3 on 1, not the other way 'round) and if your team gets rolled for a couple matches just leave the queue and then rejoin it.

Make sure you've bought the buff every time you start, buy and equip the rank 1 and 2 gear asap to level faster and just keep at it.

Oh, and remember even the losses will eventually net you 80% of a win, so long as you don't lose more than 5 in a row. So you're always gaining rank, even when you get pounded.

If you had it on a previous version you're good to go but it isn't an option now regardless of what version you try rolling. Just like you can't get field scout on a sniper anymore.

I have two Spears. One with Last round and the other I had rolled for PVE. A few days ago I decided to go ahead and reroll the second gun and was still able to land the final round perk on it.

My understanding is that older guns still allow for old perks.
