Sorry if a re-post. Dude clocked going over 200 mph in a Mustang in Oklahoma:

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a state trooper arrested a driver after clocking his speed at more than 200 mph.

The patrol says Trooper Ryan Smith pulled over the man Saturday on the Kilpatrick Turnpike in Oklahoma City. Authorities say the man was driving a Ford Mustang and the trooper's radar clocked the car at 176 mph and then 208 mph.

Authorities say the driver attempted to elude the state trooper -- turning off his headlights and brake lights at one point -- but he was eventually pulled over at a red light. The highway patrol says the driver stopped his car and dropped his keys out of the window.

The highway patrol says the driver was arrested on complaints of reckless driving and felony eluding.

I once had a patrolman clock my 4 cylinder ford ranger at a speed my forced fox body starts lifting the nose at. Even the judge laughed at his number.

i did as well once. wasnt a major chase or lights on, but was speeding and he followed me into my neighborhood but I parked real quick in a dark corner not touched by the streetlights and put my seat back. He drove past the cars slowly.. missing me. haha **** speeding tickets.

Heh. I was in my GF's Mitsu Eclipse GT around 1-2 AM one morning and was hauling ass down this hill, when a cop was driving UP the hill from the opposite direction. He blipped his lights on and busted a U-turn, i stupidly took an immediate Right, then another right, cut through the alley and parked in someone's driveway and shut the car down.

I waited a few minutes and saw a cop car zip by with its lights on...."holy shit" was my reaction...

Luckily i was only a block away from the freeway entrance, jumped on the freeway and headed home....helluva rush. Only young once i guess haha.

Dodge advertised in car shows to announce my car being built that the car would go 180 MPH until you run out of gas. The engine, suspension etc. would hold up under that stress.

Fastest I have been -

On a bike - 145MPH Suzuki TL1000 I had.
In a car - 142MPH Friends 2016 Z06. Felt like we were going about 90.

Had my old 65' up to 112MPH about a month ago. It handled it well with plenty left but my brain overrode my right foot. Get it to a track and I will keep pushing.

I got mine to 165mph running smooth but I saw some traffic up ahead and shut it down. Some owners have had it up 225 at the track.
