And Denver doesn't want to win this game for that will mess up their draft pick possibly pushing them down to 10. Don't be surprised if Denver only plays their starters on defense a series or two. They don't want injuries to their starters either let alone mess with their No.4 draft pick.

I think Mahomes showed enough Sunday for this to be a possibility.

If we have a playoff game where Smith is struggling like he did during the middle of the season, I think Andy would feel comfortable making the switch now. A game like the Bills, where we had one 1st down on six possessions for instance. Where Andy didn't make the switch that day... the season wasn't over. A game like that in the playoffs spells the end. I don't think he lets DJ, Tamba, and some of the others end their careers without giving Mahomes a chance to spark the team.
