I dont quite understand how MLB and some other places that give out playoff probabilities has Oakland at such a high playoff chance. The Royals have two ways to make the playoffs, the As only have one...and are tied w the Royals for first WC....yet MLB.com says Royals playoff chances are 64% and Oaklands is 97%.

It's because they still have 8 games left against awful teams and 3 left against an Angels team that has already clinched the division and will probably be resting some guys. The Royals have 7 games left against teams that have given them a rough time this season and 4 against the White Sox and one of those is against Sale again.
