I can't recall who mentioned it (and I'm too lazy to dig back to find out), but they said that they doubted we'd have space on the roster for 10 new players. It's a very valid point that I hadn't thought of before. Kudos to that person.

The depth on this team is pretty solid. That fact makes the value of their draft picks decrease (in the purest sense of what a draft pick represents), while the value of the player, whom they feel will push them over the top, increases.

That shift in value enables them to go after the guy they want vs. the guys left available when they pick.

Or I could just be falling for it, much like every year, and we will take Tigger's preferred first 4 picks:

I wouldn't even place RB in the top 5 rounds. History has shown quality for the position can be found later, or even not drafted. RB should never be on anyone's "first four" list, that knows anything about football.
