From everything i read he got beat out by Carr but was expected to be the Raiders QB. I can't post links but if you youtube him vs the Titans or Redskins you'll see he can throw the ball and that was back then when the Raiders had crap on the OL , bad RB's and even worse WR's.

The Chiefs are damn lucky to be where they are. Most teams wouldn't be able to recover from the injuries we've had and keep winning. In the end I still think we're to injury riddled and Alex isn't good enough to get this team past NE. But at least it won't be the cocksucking Raiders!
