Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

I'm not opposed to Romo himself, even with injury issues. However what will it cost? Odds are the qbs we draft could need time. Romo as a stop gap would be fine with Foles backing him up.

Problem is when you start factoring in contract, what we gave up to get him, ect. Same thing for rivers, if that is being hypothetically discussed.

I'd certainly rather have Rivers than Romo. But you can't trade away draft picks to a division rival to get him.

I agree. Again talking in a vacuum and discounting compensation, I still think rivers has something left. The entire sd situation has forced him to try too hard the past year especially.

The only way that I see Romo in KC is if for some reason his negotiations with the Broncos wain into training camp and Alex goes down with a freak accident and the Chiefs become a great 2nd option for Romo

Had he been our QB instead of Alice, I think we win the Super Bowl last year and would be gearing up to play this Sunday.

I haven't seen this reported by anyone except people who are just speculating.

There's a 100% chance Alex is our QB in 2017. Sorry to say it.

I'm not sure I'd even like Romo better, all told. He doesn't exactly have a track record of winning deep into the postseason even when he is healthy.

Sure seems to be alot of media attention on the Chiefs QB situation, Romo to KC, and Smith to the Jets type of stuff lately. If KC can get more trading Smith to the Jets than they give up getting Romo from Dallas, I'd be pretty damn happy.

If the Chiefs do trade for Romo, they need to restructure and retain Foles.

Another question... would anyone entertain Johnny Manziel on a 1-year, vet min, prove it type of deal? I wouldn't mind a Romo/Foles/Manziel QB group heading into next year. If the draft presents a good option, get him, you're not tied to Manziel.
