LNBS: A list of players KC should try to trade.

Jamaal Charles - seriously one of my favorite players to ever play for KC, but if we can get as much as a third for him, it might be best to move on. West, Ware and Reaves are a solid trio of RBs. If Charles has value, the Chiefs would be wise to extract it.

Knile Davis - has shown well in PS and is a solid returner that brings value. He would play a role for a lot of teams. He just doesn't have a role on this team that's gonna need to maximize every roster spot and is stacked at RB.

Maybe someone coughs up a 6th for him?

DeAnthony Thomas - brings an element of explosiveness to the field and gives extra value as a special teamer, but this WR group is gonna be a dogfight. Conley looks like he has taken a step forward...Maclin is Maclin. Streater has been good. Wilson has proven the ability to contribute already. Robinson was drafted. Tyreek Hill is gonna play a significant role.

If they can get a draft pick for him, they should.

James Oshaunessy - just an extremely deep TE group and they can't cut Kelce, Harris or Travis...so JO won't make the final 53.

Maybe a late rounder?

Tyler Bray or Aaron Murray - both are intriguing kids, but KC made a statement signing Nick Foles and handling him as they have (all the #2 reps) while also drafting Kevin Hogan. Granted, they weren't counting on Foles becoming avainable to them, but that makes 2 QBs expendable. Hopefully, we can get something for one of them.

Dontari Poe - back problems, not truly dominant. Like Eric Berry, not going to be s good bang for the buck player unless he signs for a team friendly deal and that's not today's NFL. These agents have a stranglehold on these owners with the big name FAs and somebody is going to overpay. This DL is very deep. Williams, Roches, Jones, Howard, Poe, Bailey, King and Roches are all guys that can play. Howard proved last year that he could play the nose effectively...and Jones looks like he could be an immediate difference maker.

If they can get a second rounder for him, I'd do it.

Josh Mauga - He's a solid starter and I know the LBs struggled a bit against LA, but that 5m we would save against the cap the next 2 years combined could go a long way towards continuing to bolster this roster and the younger guys need reps.

I'm sure someone would cough up a late rounder for him.

The only real way to get in football shape is to...play football.
Agreed. Tamba will be 33 in a few months and has a ton of mileage. I wouldn't care as much if Houston were healthy. But now he's expected to carry the pass rush, and he hasn't had a 10 sack season in 3 years.

I think they keep 4 QB's on the roster and then survey the league after the final cuts and release one if they fill a hole somewhere else, or test viability of a trade with whomever has obvious QB worries. I would keep Travis and only 3 TE's. I would cut Dee Ford. His play was appalling. On a few plays he threw himself into the pile well after the play was over...as if he was in a trance during the play. It's not workable. Moses is a better option there. I'm also not impressed with March, at least not Saturday so I'm suspicious. I frankly am leaning on keeping DAT over Hill. I could change my mind, we'll see. To be honest, I've seen better punt return production from Frankie Hammond. I wouldn't even consider Trading Charles. He's just too much fun to watch, too rare of a talent. I'm concluding that we may have to say goodbye to Poe, however, Howard is only here for 2 years. I'm not that excited about Streater. I think Robinson is going to be a star. I'd rather hang onto Hammond, let him return punts and rotate in the slot until Robinson is ready. It's time for DJ Alexander to start. I love this team, but there are a number of holes out there still, LB, Safety, RG. I don't see a KR better than Davis on the roster.

Then it will be a mistake, not their first one, nor will it be their last. Murray is showing some accuracy and real potential IMO.

A fifth is not high enough to worry about burning when you have a couple years invested in another fifth rounder.

This.

I hope they are limiting Hali's snaps in the first month or he's going to burn himself out into another injury.

None of our RBs or WRs are equivalent value to Mychal Kendricks.

Do you really want to trade Bailey, Poe or Howard for him?

I'd make that trade if our rookie shows enough before the deadline.
