But feeling like your heart got ripped out? I felt like my heart was ripped out when the team of destiny lost to UNI in 2010 and to a lesser extent last year when we lost to Michigan.

Today was just a shitty loss in a meaningless early season game.

Shit, I'm not upset at all. They played better than I thought they would, especially when they fell behind there. There's a lot of good things to take out of this one, which is quite a bit different than the Nova loss when they didn't compete hard.

If some are freaking out now, though, I worry what it's going to be like a week from now when KU will potentially be on a 2 or 3 game losing streak (Florida is a great team and New Mexico at Sprint will be very tough as well...I'd be fine with just grabbing one of those). They're playing the toughest non-con schedule in the country and it should be no surprise that it's going to result in a few losses.
