My grandfather was an iron worker and wore overalls to work every day as long as I knew him. I wear them to remember/honor him, as odd as that might be.

Yep. My mom was a seamstress at Key in Fort Scott until She finished nursing school when I was about 14. I think they now make some of their items elsewhere but still headquarter in Fort Scott.

Pro tip: if you’re ever in the market for overalls, jeans, shirts or carharrt-style coats, hit up their HQ this time of year for their holiday sale. I was just in fort Scott to deer hunt and picked up overalls for $12 and a coat for $20. Can’t beat it.
