Actually ... if we are being honest ... my lineups weren't the one that tanked last week ... I looked through the ones that cashed and I'll leave it at that

not to mention it was my Rivers / Allen / Gates lineup that had the shot at the end

regardless, since no one decided to help ... flop hasn't posted in a week and OTWP was too busy ... I did every single lineup this week exactly how I'd do it if it were my $2000

so if we lose, that's on me ... but when we win, that's on me, too

and the problem with your "diversify everything!" strategy is simple

so we had Zenner in 1 lineup ... let's say he goes ballistic and gets 25 points ... we still have to be perfect around him, as well, to win anything meaningful

if we surrounded him with Ryan, Julio and Gronk last week we still wouldn't have won shit

the pros pick the guys they like and surround them with the secondary guys they like ... they don't just make 188 random lineups featuring a bunch of shit combos like Mike Vick with a Chiefs stack and pray it hits

so I played it like a pro this week ... I targeted the high scoring games with the players I liked from those games and made 79 lineups

if it fails, it fails ... but I'm sick of taking grief for last week because of piss poor communication

at least this week, the week we were waiting for !! ... I attacked it with a strategy and stuck with it ... the people I expected to care made 3 posts this week, combined ... and they were all from OTWP

hell, last Sunday I don't think Flop woke up until 11:30 ... as OTWP and I were getting lineups all set

so that's fine, I'm sorry you guys all signed up for this ... but I feel really good about the lineups put in this week and if they fail, well, it's not like anyone else wasted 12 hours but me

Just so I'm understood on my diversity theory,I agree with having core players but I also believe the diversity should be at QB and defense because every week those positions tend to have more WTF who saw that coming moments i.e. Josh McCown that was in 1.1% of line-ups.

and I played 9 or 10 different QB's this week ...

and a lot of people saw Josh McCown coming ... bwillie called it ... and we had a few McCown lineups, as well

this week my "McCown's" are Stafford and Hoyer.

defense for me is pretty simple this week

Seattle is a different team at home. They HAVE to win. And they dominate on secondary ... and Cam has nobody to throw it to. Is Ted Ginn going to humiliate Sherman? Seahawks are going to be #1 defense this week I'll bet my bottom dollar.
