Like I've said the last few years....and I honestly believe it. Why would I get upset over a game where outcomes are slanted towards a certain result and games are officiated by selective enforcement. You don't "let calls go" all night and then drop the hammer on a crucial tying score. It's hard to take a game seriously when it ends in that manner.

There's probably some truth to the fact that if the Chiefs would have invested a draft pick in a big time (NFL money making) player like "Big Ben" I doubt that flag would have been thrown. The Chiefs just continue to trot out journeymen Bono Craig Deberg Castle quarterbacks in a QB driven league and then cry when they can't climb the mountain.
Doesn't have to be a 1 pick, but there's got to be a QB draft with open competition. (BTW Kirk Cousins might wind up on the open market so prepare yourselves for a Kirk Cousins Chiefs 2017). |

Chiefs are happy to collect their paycheck for being a performer, accept that.

The refs take orders from a much higher influence. Why would I blame a pawn? Enjoy another Super Farce, lemming.

He's no superstar, but he's better than Smoth. Also, Matt Cassel is a UFA in case anyone was wondering! |

Cousins is going to get PAID. And isn't a big upgrade from Smith. Zero chance it happens, IMO.
The NFL isn't out to get the Chiefs. KC just keeps trying to win with an incredibly flawed approach, and it keeps failing because of the flaws. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think the NFL "is out to get" anyone, I just think it's a staged sport.

Same difference. Is the game rigged? Or do the Chiefs just approach it with a strategy that has a low chance of working? I'll take the latter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I see this lose caused by the inability of the Chiefs to stop Bell. If you look at the stats, most of the tackles were by defensive backs. That means Bell was getting through the front seven. The one player that could have helped stop Bell and maybe have kept one of those six field goals off the board is Derrick Johnson. In my opinion, he is the best run-stopping LB on the Chiefs roster and they missed him.
Honorable mention would be Alan Bailey and Jaye Howard. Both were starting defensive ends at the beginning of the season. The defensive front rotation could have looked much different with those guys still on the active roster. Just keep one of those field goals off the board and the Chiefs win. |

Bipolar offense that disappears for long stretches Soft offensive line Dropped passes Offense finally clicking when it's on the verge of too late Shit run defense Anemic pass rush Tough red zone defense Bad play calling This is exactly what this team has been all year. And perhaps most predictable of all the huge bailout play from the defense or special teams failing to happen on the biggest stage I'm not even mad at this point. I knew what the team was. It's just deflating.

Cousins is not much of an upgrade from Smith. Kirk Cousins can kindly **** off.
