Based on the numbers I’m hearing out of the current contract talks, Wilson wants to be paid like the type of quarterback who would excel in any offense, without a world-class defense and an All-Pro running back. And despite all of Wilson’s successes, I don’t think John Schneider and his coaches are convinced he’s that kind of quarterback.

5 years, $110 million with $80 million guaranteed was YOUR number.

Instead, he received a four year extension, which is a 5 year deal, for $60 million guaranteed with a total of $87.5 million.

Those numbers are so far off from your speculation that laughing is an understatement.
