My Engagement just got broken off but the Royals are 6-0!
So apparently its been building with her for a long time, but the final straw was that I wanted to watch the game today instead of going with her to some BBQ at one of her friends' house that I cant stand. Last night making her watch the game with me instead of our usual Sat night of watching movies might have had something to do with it as well.

No more than an hour after the game ended she came over and gave me her ring back and said "I cant do this anymore". I just stood there dumbfounded as I watched her walk to her car. Im sure its not just the baseball games, we've been fighting a lot the last few months about stupid shit but I guess this finally sent her over the edge.

I'm sure I'll be hurt by this tomorrow, but until then go Royals!

this last petty argument was def a way for her to storm off like a brat like most women do.

Sure, you may have not spent enough quality time in HER mind.. but if she was a somewhat mature woman who truly wanted to be your wife she should at least have the respect for you to talk it out with you of what shes missing but she refuses and the arguments build over small things and then this last thing was a gateway for her to bounce.

Trust me, you are prob at fault too in some ways, but she also had some selfishness clearly.

I learned this the hardway... when one of the spouses or other half wants to wage war.. you be the peacemaker.. don't count on them to be a peacemaker.. you have to be the peacemaker.. learn how to use emotional jujitsu. You know where the term "women are always right?" comes into play? when you are in arguments and in situations like these...in the future if its the same girl or future.. agree with her.. admit you were mistaken and most times she will find her self actually defending you and thats where the emotional jujitsu comes into play.
