Diswasher help
Installed diswasher #1. It would not fill with water. Thought the pump was bad
got a new one Installed dishwasher #2. Same problem. It does not fill with water. I know the water is on. I know water is getting to the dishwasher because the 90 degree elbow is warm. The kicker is that it ran just fine yesterday after I put water in the tub like the instructions said. The elbow and water tube was also warm. It ran. Last night-it would not. I went to bed mad. Tried the stuck float thing. No luck. Its a ******** dishwasher. There is no way I could have installed it incorrectly. http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-Front-...GJWW/206355370 |

Page 5 of your installation manual talks about a possible check valve in some flexible supply hoses. ??

Disconnect the water line from the dishwasher, put it in a bucket and turn the water on to make sure you have good flow. It sounds like either the line has a kink or an obstruction in it. If it turns out that you have good flow, pull the elbow off of the dishwasher and check the screen to make sure its not plugged

Do you have one of those new water lines with a 'flood safety' device on the end? If so go get one without it. I've had problems with those pieces of shit.
