How good, exactly, is Branden Albert.

Here's a list of the starting left tackles from last year, according to NFL.com:

Nate Solder (Patriots)
D'Brickashaw Ferguson (Jets)
Jake Long (Dolphins)
Cordy Glenn (Bills)

Bryant McKinnie (Ravens)
Max Starks (Steelers)
Andrew Whitworth (Bengals)
Joe Thomas (Browns)

Anthony Castonzo (Colts)
Eugene Monroe (Jaguars)
Michael Roos (Titans)
Duane Brown (Texans)

Branden Albert (Chiefs)
Ryan Clady (Broncos)
Michael Harris (Chargers)
Jared Veldeer (Raiders)

Will Beatty (Giants)
Tyron Smith (Cowboys)
Trent Williams (Redskins)
King Dunlap (Eagles)

J'Marcus Webb (Bears)
Marshall Newhouse (Packers)
Jeff Backus (Lions)
Matt Kalil (Vikings)

Jerman Bushrod (Saints)
Donald Penn (Buccaneers)
Jordan Gross (Panthers)
Sam Baker (Falcons)

Joe Staley (49ers)
Levi Brown (Cardinals)
Russell Okung (Seahawks)
Roger Saffold (Rams)

You want to call Branden Albert a top 10 LT? Then list specifically where he lands in this list.

Keep in mind, we're probably going to have at least three new ones next year in Bryan Bulaga (Packers), Mike Adams (if he can beat out Starks in Pittsburgh), Luke Joeckel (whomever drafts him) and Eric Fisher (same).

Gave up 1 sack in 10 games last year.

In the prior year he gave up only 13 total pressures on over 1000 snaps.

So do you know a ****ing thing?

What did you expect? Albert is a good LT. You only ask the question in the thread title if you try to justify taking Joeckel. Some of us are sick and tired of hearing about the infallible Joeckel, who is apparently the greatest offensive line prospect since Tony Mandarich.

Dude, he 'll be protecting a QB who's adept at shitting himself and being a great technician will only get you so far. He'll have to deal to THE GUY no leeway as the impact starter and the #1 overall pick with a town who wants a savior. If he's lucky he'll be in the top 20 among OT starters.

Do you know Star Trek very well? You could do a Bo's Pellini kind of thing where you have to make Star Trek references in everything you post. And if I lost... dunno, do you have any ideas?

If Dorsey/Reid take Joeckel at #1 then they (including the true fans) truly deserve the 1-15 season that will ensue.

Lol sure he didn't.

1 sack more allowed per year than Joe Thomas over his career. 0.8 more penalties a year. You don't know what you're talking about.

That singular point is fair enough, if i had to nitpick or question one thing about him, its that... Jamaal or whoever.

No coach we've had since his arrival has ran it his way nearly as much as the other, is it because they were all drooling morons? very likely... but i have to admit to quietly wondering about that for years.

You obviously don't watch every game, or you don't know what you are watching.

He dominates the pass rush game, and is a solid run blocker, who hasn't done shit but improve since he has been in the league.

So, do you know a ****ing thing?
