I think the results would be much different if it was a blind taste test, and the tester had no idea what food they were trying and where it was from..

A couple of local joints that didn't make the list but certainly deserve to be: Freebirds (burritos) and PTerry's (burgers). Freebirds is starting to grow though, I saw one recently in Dallas but I doubt they have gotten out of Texas. But they kick Chipotle every time. And their pot brownies are great! (circular, cooked in a pot)

There is a Freebirds and Pancheros in KC. Both are inferior to chipotle, and I'm not a huge chipotle fan.

McDonalds also totally has the childrens demo locked down. I think a lot or parents end up eating there because their kids scream for it and won't eat at 5 Guys or whatever.
