JFC what shit show QB and Coaching performance....

Love seeing plays with guys wide open time after time and our QB checking down... You would think after 2-1000 of these misses that your HC would make a change and force the QB to take shots to the open WR's...

Oh no, not the mastermind of the Horizontal Coast Offense (HCO)! **** you Reid for being a chicken shit and not forcing your QB to make a play...

I would expect a 9 year vet who just got a big contract to be able to hit the passes shown in this article and not just look for the easy completions that don't result in moving the chains/scoring TDs. Guess I'm funny that way.

Also, no one is comparing Alex then to Russell now. Jenkinswins was trying to defend his boo by pointing out that time Russell got bailed out by his defense, like it had any bearing on the way Alex played this season.

indeed, way to go, you found me out.

Dude, just because I don't follow the script the Alex sucks and is the only reason the team sucks and cant win doesn't mean "I'm Trolling".

Just means I can see a touch deeper than pure hate and try to bring a little balance to the debate.

But whatever, hate to hate and have fun with it all.

Article was stupid. Every QB has 13 or more plays they would like to have back and probably more. Where the thread went south was making it sound as thou every play AS made is represented by those 13 plays. True Smith isn't elite but we did have a winning record and had our chances despite some very bad breaks injury wise in the season. We are stuck with the guy for now all the whining in the world isn't gonna change it. Bolster the line try to find a legitimate 1 receiver draft a young stud wideout. At the end of the year and AS can't make it work can him or bench him in season I dont care. What is painfully obvious is our QB doesn't believe in the guys he has now at the wideouts.

Well then you missed the one in there where he hit his #1 read for a first down? Guess I'm funny that way as well.

And people throw those comparisons out there all the time without any context. Can you not say Wilson has the best D and Best running attack and that has a huge impact on how he plays/they win? If not fine.

I can say Alex sucks at times, see there, we can all agree now or maybe not.

I'm seriously not trying to stir the pot here, but I would like to see 10 plays that legitimizes smith. I'm sure they exist, i just can't remember any throws he had that made me think 'wow'. Possibly because of how the season turned out/short memory on my part. But I just can't remember them.

There were a few (a throw to Bowe at SD on the GW drive, for one). That is what makes him so frustrating - he can do it but just won't pull the trigger most of the time. That, and his patented "run straight to the sideline when pressured" move.

Dude is a pussy, plain and simple.
He doesn't want to win. Just doesn't want to be the reason we lost.
Checkdown bitch.
He could redeem himself, but I have little to no hope of him growing a sack.
He's made a nice little, long term, starting career out of being a safe pussy.

Some guys testicles just take a little longer to drop.

I'm guessing year ten is when he really sprouts a sack! There's still hope.

You would think his nutsack would be trailing on the ground behind him with as many people as there are hanging off of it.

Unless theres a standout QB out there waiting to be grasped.. load up the squad see what can happen.. if Alex ultimately is a disaster.. then well next man up. Chiefs are barely past year two of Reids rebuild of a 2-14 cultured squad.
People keep bringing up 2-14.. Ignoring the fact it was the same fundamental team as the ones that went 7-9 and 10-6.
