Yes true, but I'd rather have 1080i than 720.
Sling sent everything, upconverted, at 1080p iirc. I had to give up SlingTV. It pooped itself during popular events and I really disliked that my wife could watch nothing if I were watching something on WatchESPN. Only one stream was a big inconvenience. |

The main reason I'm considering it is for access to Royals baseball on FSMW

I think the number one complaint for Vue is the west coast feeds. I had DirecTV for over a decade. I am used to getting the east coast feeds for everything. Supposedly, Vue gives you the feed for your timezone. That is pretty much a deal breaker for me considering I can get a HD torrent with commercials removed hours before the show would air on Vue. Is there a way around the west coast feeds for Vue?

Not very impressed so far. Live sports is low quality and not HD at all. Also it appears that fox sports will be the Midwest feed rather than Kansas city's

correct. I would get Fox Sports West, not Fox Sports AZ. However, if you do some searching, you'll find HD Fox Sports regionals have m3u8 links online. The links are not 24/7, but seem to go live with games.

Not familiar with that. Where are said links. The only streams I have ever found that are decent are wiz1.net links

Vue looks really inspiring. It has pretty much all of the channels the wife and I actually watch. I'd be much more inclined to get it if they offered it on their Sony BDP boxes, which it looks as though that isn't going to happen just yet. We have a couple of the BDPs for streaming netflix, plex, and watching blu-ray disks. I'd imagine I could hook up a ChromeCast, but why the **** should I have to spend another $35 when Sony could easily offer Vue to their own ****ing box?

Do not get me started on ChromeCast. Or as it is now known GoogleCast. It does some basic things, but there is so much more potential that google refuses to use it for. There are so many 3rd party addons that can find direct links to video on a webpage, but chromecast does not do that natively. I should be able to just click the chromecast icon and paste a link in it. Cast buddy will ahve to do.

I tried the free week trial of Vue last week. The only reason I'd even consider it is for sports. And it kept messing up really badly during the awesome Friday night NCAA games I was watching. So that's that. Immediately cancelled.

Anyone still using Vue? I started a free trial of it yesterday and the quality appears to be much improved from what people were saying back in March.
Bummed the Fox Sports Network feed was showing UFC instead of Royals, but I have AtBat and an a GPS go-around, so I just sent the stream from my phone to the tv.

I'm doing the free trial this week also. The workaround I found is to use the Vue credentials on the Fox Sports Go app. Not sure what device you are using, but this works great on a FireTV stick.
