Why can't Tyreek be our #1 WR?

The more I'm sitting here thinking about how explosive and quick this guy is, I start questioning why can't he be our #1 WR?

Antonio Brown is probably smaller than he is.
NONE of the Chiefs WRs have better hands than he does.
NONE of the Chiefs WRs get more seperation.

I heard that there was some report that claimed TH has the most seperation of any WR in the league. It was statistical analysis by one of those Pro football statistician sites.

Why can't he be our #1? Anyone have a solid answer?

And our QB situation isn't going to change no matter how much it is wanted. My point is we try to get the ball out of Smith's hands in 2.5 seconds just like the offense that has kept Brady safe season after season. Smith could benefit from having another shifty receiver who could get separation quicker.

Agreed. Maclin should and will get the 2017 season, at least.

AFTER the 2017 season is when the talk of potential release gets more likely. Releasing Mac then would free the Chiefs of more than 8 million in cap.

Great question and thread.

I think Hill has the physical potential to be a #1. However, he doesn't seem very smart. Did Reid really throw that much on him? I'm not so sure. He does compare to Antonio Brown but remember, Brown didn't blow up over night. He eased his way into stardom under the careful eye of Hines Ward.

It's hard to say if he can become a #1 at this point.

The skills are there. I think it's a simple matter of effort. If Ty really puts in the work, he can achieve that #1 role. A real question is.. in a Reid offense.. can any one receiver get the # of targets that other teams pump out to their #1's? or are they always to be a spread it around offense?

Didn't know Hill was that tall. For some reason I thought he was shorter than that.
Maybe he will be Brown someday? It took Brown 3-4 years before he was truly dominating

He is the prototype for a Reid offense. He is in the same mold as Avery, Maclin, Jackson, and Wilson. It's not really about stretching the field. It's about YAC on drag and crossing routes. Hill is the epitome of YAC...

Oh **** YOU. I posted it one time in this thread. And it's a legitimate reason
why Hill isn't considered our #1 rec.

Hey dipshit, you're the last mother****er that worth the bother to respond to. But I'll do it just to show what and ignorant **** you are. I average 1.75 posts a day. Even your dumb ass should be able to do that math and figure out that in no way adds up to you posted about me.
Once again you pull something out of you stupid ass and post it like you know what you're talking about.
As far as the new rules go, from what I've seen I'd tread lightly if I were you.
You are the definition of Douchebag on Chiefs Planet.
