Thats an easy observation, but this is thier sophmore release, and throughout 2 albums, his own style becomes much more recognizable and unique. I thought the same thing at first, but now I will have to disagree. There are a lot of vocal influences from Opus Dai and Fair to Midland.

Rishloo has been one of my favorite bands since.... obviously 2007.
Their newest album is freaking fantastic, and I'm glad they are getting a bit more popular now, because they deserve it.

Once you span the collection of material, you will really start to identify with Drews' unique vocal style. Maynard is the obvious comparison, but besides a few similar notes that he hits in the same manner, he is pretty different.

Yeah I don't hear the similarities like I used to. He compares more with Freddie Mercury than Maynard. Just really good vocals. You can tell he works hard to get that range.
