We need more secondary help no doubt but we are already ahead of last year. Losing Nelson and adding Honey Badger is a win. One more solid piece and some depth we will be set up well.

The fact that Veach has failed twice to land a free agent CB has got to be a concern. If he fails with this too then the pressure is really going to be on during the draft or he's gonna have to trade for someone.

Which basically describes pretty much all of the available free agent CB’s.

So either Veach finally converts a trade and lands a veteran CB or everything will have to be addressed in the draft.

Of course the third option is to wait until August like last year and try to get a CB from the trash heap... see the failed Scandsuck fiasco.

Yeah, 10m is crazy... He has yet to play one full 16 game season due to his past injuries. And Dennard earned a coverage grade of 60.7.
