I'm Otter - AMA

Hi my screen name is Otter. I'm doing a lot of travelling this month and I'm currently sitting in a motel room sipping on a scotch . In keeping with diphg9 AMA thread requests I'm open for questions. I'll start off with a couple tidbits about myself that I can think of to get things rolling:
  • born in eastern PA in a small coal mining town which county has roughly 5x the national cirrhosis related deaths over anywhere in the US last I checked
  • never met a black person until junior year in high school but dated quite a few black girls in college
  • served as an altar boy in the Catholic Church for 3 months before getting kicked off the team
  • kicked out of 2 high schools for "misconduct"
  • read my last rights at age 8 in front of my crying mother
  • state championship wrestler in PA at 138lbs
  • earned two degrees in EE and CS plus too many certs to mention
  • currently live in Duragno, CO after numerous moves on the east coast - a planeteer who shall remain nameless introduced me to real mountains back in 2001ish and I never looked back
  • kicked the shit out of 2 men twice my size at the same time outside a dive bar in college because they thought I wasn't going to defend myself
  • i'm married, 1/3 owner in successful LLC, and proud owner of the coolest boxer dog ever born
  • will ignore any political questions; i'm nor republican or democrat if you want to draw lines and think they're both equally full of shit
Let's see how it goes if at all..Let 'er rip. I'll be as honest as possible w/o revealing any personal info.

do you miss the rust belt? Which brand and flavor deodorant do you utilize. Do you use an electric or hand-held razor, also which brand?

Are you a fan of donuts?

How about biscuits and gravy?

What's your ideal soup?

Would you rather own a truck or an SUV?

what's your hair style like and is it important to you?

That's a difficult question because they all kind of go together but all things being equal, ass, all the way.

Did you get any wrestling scholarships for college?

What does your LLC do?

Are you particularly attracted to black women, all else being equal?

How does the culture in Durango differ from the east, and what are the biggest pros and cons of Durango in that respect?

I miss the rust belt because it's so familiar and that's my roots and still have family and friends back there. You really find out how different people are when you move 1200 miles away. If you've never been to SW Colorado you'll know whether you love or hate it in about 10 minutes.

Both. Electric for everyday. Hand held for special occasions. Gillette. The best a man can get.

I don't like donuts. Anything that sweet gives me heartburn.

I don't mind biscuts and gravy but don't crave them either. The only foods I crave are sushi, steak and lobster really. The rest is just nourishment.

Ideal soup is Minestrone.

Pickup truck. I'm a huge mountain biker and love to be able to throw stuff in the back that's muddy.

Full head of hair and cropped to about 1/2 inch just to piss off bald guys.

Thanks those are all very helpful for the people who don't know you as well as I.

I'd say you 'seem' nice. But I alrdy know that you are. Clay was wanting me to do one of these about two years ago - I suppose that's coming in time. Thanks Otter J

What is your favorite place to vacation?

Which do you enjoy more, reading or watching TV?

Do you like movies about gladiators?
