Statistically we do have a shot with Alex Smith mainly due to his draft position. Its small and the chance to win more than one or even play in more than one is smaller.

Is that Billy Joe Tolliver or Billy Joe Hobert?? Tolliver. Who cares, they were both terrible. Remember when Ditka started one of em in NO and in the interviews after the game, the media asked him why he played so terrible, and he said that he hasn't really studied the playbook much, he didn't think he was gonna play?? Awesome for Billy Joe. Good name for QBs - Trent Trent Dilfer - Top 10 draft pick (I wanna say 3rd or 4th overall to Tampa Bay, right??), Super Bowl-winning QB. Now we all agree that Alex Smith can be as good or even better than Dilfer, right??? Hhehehehhehe...

So if we had taken Geno at 1.1 he would have been a likely SB winner, but since he was taken in the 2nd he probably won't be? Is that what the OP is trying to say?
Good thing we have a QB taken at 1.1. |

@draftbreakdown: David Fales would make sense for KC. Hyper-accurate w/ good feet (both important attributes for a WCO QB) http://t.co/ABi3ojQvlf

Heh was about to post something like this.
The ironic thing is that people are now saying we should have drafted Geno even though he was a 2nd round QB.
