Oh well hell yes it's better than fast food burgers. And I've never eaten at Red Robin, I'm partial to a local chain called Don & Millie's. A national chain has to have something pretty outstanding for me to choose them over a local guy.

There's a Smashburger about six blocks from my office now, but I haven't been there yet. I should do that. However, there's some little independent place about 4 blocks in the other direction that has great burgers and fantastic fries. It's hard to move past them to try a new place, because they pretty much grade out at a 97 or 98. And yeah, Red Robin rules. My wife and I both love Red Robin, so it's a relatively frequent outing when we want to pick up a cheap and tasty 2,000 calorie meal.

I'm not sure it does. It's in the food court of the biggest building downtown (Republic Plaza, down in the basement).
Actually, it does have a name, but it's something generic like Rocky Mountain Deli or something. They sell other sandwiches and salads that are good, but the burgers and fries are the thing to get.

Haven't tried it yet but it is definitely on my list. Heard good things. I tried Five Guys for the first time last month. It was decent but nothing special IMO. I still need to try BRGR Kitchen as well. I think one of the best burgers in KC in at Fric and Frac.

I thought it was a little better than Five Guys. I could really notice the quality in the beef.
