Apparently I've been an admin here for 10 years. AMA I suppose.

Just out of curiosity, I looked at my account, and I was made an administrator on April 10th, 2008. Though I kind of stepped back on the mod duties for a few years, it's crazy to me that I've been trying to keep you guys from killing each other for over a decade.

Anyway, feel free to ask questions about the past 10 years as a mod, what it's like working for one of CP's most illustrious members, why Denver is an OK place despite the stench wafting over from the Broncos, or whatever.

Or don't. I could just ban people randomly instead, which might be about as fun.

Heh...that's a good question. Both of us are moderately active, but both in sports that require legs rather than arms (running for him, skiing/hiking for me). I'd bet I could take him if I offered to buy him a Diet Dr. Pepper as a consolation prize.

I doubt either of us would react particularly strongly. I hope I'm not incorrectly speaking for Rain Man when I say that neither of us are going to be winning any bodybuilding competitions.

Were you a member of the a cappella group The Emporia State Echoes who competed against the Barden Bellas at the ICAA?

Close, but not quite. (Though the choir's name was technically "A Cappella Choir," there was far less dancing involved.)

So your ritual would basically be to buy him off with a soda, and he wouldn't even bother with a ritual other than folding immediately and giving in. Got it.

Heh...I'd forgotten about that. At the time, it was basically just me and morphius trying to keep the place running (though Dole was around, he's always been hit or miss in terms of being online), so I would randomly get tons of PMs while I was driving down the road and have to muddle through banning users and deleting posts on my first smart phone. It sucked.

Very cool. My wife sang for Dr. Riney/Quakers at Friends in college and toured through Russia and Europe. She even got me involved with the Alumni choir.

Romper Room was a brilliant add and cover for the gray areas. Kadoo's (RIP Dane).
