Not giving Berry that extension would have probably led to a mutiny. The locker room would have been pissed.

It actually was pissed bc Eric ****ing Fisher and LDT got paid while Berry waited.

True.

The only big extension that's worked out very well for the Chiefs has been Alex Smith.

LOL.

How about the starting OL. Will they actually try and block anyone? Will they make an effort to play?

Game 3 seems to always be first half, then a possession or two in the 3rd quarter.

I was thinking game 2 was always a full quarter, some of the 2nd etc.

People act like the guy isn't trying or something, sometimes there isn't shit you can do. This isn't an Albert Haynesworth or Dwayne Bowe get paid and get lazy kind of situation.

If anything he may be working himself too hard.
Me too. I find the only cure is to get younger. Stupid contract is Stoopid.

Yea it was definitely not the full first half until the third game in the past. I wonder if Reid is trying to let Mahomes get some confidence after the last game where the O-line almost killed him.

All for it. Get Mahomes as much play as possible. Need to get him as much experience as possible. Also need to get the offense in a rythym heading into week 1 IMO.

I want to see the offense look much more in sync Friday. Not expecting perfection or any special plays, but just execute their job on each play.

You and I both, but they seem hell bent on forcing him into the lineup. I have no idea why either, because it’s not like he’s worth extending this offseason.
