****Official Kansas Jayhawks vs. Iowa State Cyclones Gameday Thread ****

Didn't even put in a "booo" joke, because A) it's getting old, and B) I think ISU is fast becoming an actual rival.

Of course, like all of KU's rivals, it is more in spirit and attitude. It's not like anyone actually has a good record against us.

Prediction: I think that this will be KU's best total game to date.

Great game.

I was worried about this one. We seem to be due for a letdown game and having beat them in Ames, I was afraid we would come out lackadaisical. But we came out with incredible hustle and effort.

You mix this talent with this kind of effort and it is pretty goddamned tough. Effort will overcome a lot of inexperience.

I'll have another helping of Tharpe crow, please. Early I was pining for Mason to start. Tharpe is better right now, and thank ****ing god for that. Dude has been critical to KU's success. There is a lot of turnovers and missed passing opportunities when he's out. Mason is still a hell of a player and is really good for a *relatively low rated freshman. Tharpe has improved dramatically from last year. And thank God. Thank ****ing God.

Wiggins is boss.

How the **** is Embiid this good? Excellent players that have played 15 years of basketball don't have the moves Embiid does after 3 years of ball. Dude is ridiculous.

Nice to see Ellis come out and play. He's been in a bit of a slump. If he can get rolling down the stretch, that will be huge.

The Aaron Crafts lose AT HOME to an awful Penn State team that has never won in Columbia. Ever. Wisconsin loses at home to a ****terrible Northwestern team. By double digits. B1G Basketball FTL.

LOL in the Cal game dude stole the ball and had a wide open layup and stuck it between the glass and rim and ended up being a jump ball. LOL

I saw a few minutes of a game a couple weeks ago, and they looked pretty salty. Particularly the guard play. I remember they've got a giant white kid that KU recruited, Tarzinsky or something like that (without looking it up), I haven't paid much attention to it this year, but I'm not hearing his name much. I think the kid has talent, but he's definitely not the dominant player that we've run through KU.

Kaleb Tarczewski - doing OK...averages a little over 9 a game.
It came down between KU and Zona....
Again, like the guy at TCU, glad he chose Zona instead KU now.
Might not of recruited Joel if he did come to KU.

I just hope before the end of the year they do what's best for the team and let Bubu play.
