I don't believe we have shown anything in the preseason. This is the first time in ages we have had the same GM, HC, OC, and QB going into consecutive seasons. I believe we have depth. The receivers are better than some think. We have weapons like Kelce and Thomas who aren't even starters. Most of all I believe this team has chemistry and will learn from last year's mistakes. We will be better at finishing games. We might even make the playoffs. I am almost positive we won't have a losing season. Going two seasons in a row without a losing season is taking the next step for this franchise. I think the tide has turned for this franchise. People take the preseason and what they see on paper too seriously imo. The most important stuff is still here. |

After watching future HOF Matt Cashole rip the D as Alex mailed in another game-I am down grading my prediction to 5-11 from 6-10.
I don't think we will beat the Titans in the Season Opener the way we are playing. This is a 3-13 to 4-12 talent team but we might get lucky and tag on one more win. Bridgewater sure would have looked good in Red!! |

I'll be amazed if we get 6 wins this year. 4, max.

Sounds like one little coddled, spoiled ass brat who's mom should have spanked him instead of spoiling him like a bitch needs a nap. Go lay down honey, you know how your anus leaks when you get all worked up!

Last year going into the season, I seem to recall there was one preseason game where KC actually looked good...or at least the defense did. I think it was week 1 or 2. At any rate, there was some indication of performance.
This year has been yet another crap sandwich like many other pre-season's on the eve of a horrible season. I guess I'll take 6 wins, I really dont see that many. It's too easy for defenses to completely shut this offense down...what a mess.

Either extreme is unlikely. The truth is that the Chiefs appear to be a mediocre team. No one likes to hear that. If we get lucky, we can get on a roll. If not, it is going to be a long season. Injuries can happen. Manning and Rivers could go down and we could be looking pretty good. But, barring injuries, expectations should not be high.
We have a good LB corps, a decent DL, a great RB, one good safety and a good punter. We are in salary cap Hell, have a weak OL (much weaker than last year), no good CBs, a questionable FS, and a weak WR corps. Our QB is in the last year of his contract. He is not the answer for the Chiefs. If you pay him like he is the answer, then you cannot likely keep the Pro Bowl players you need. This season will be a regression, most likely. We have a couple of decent draft picks; but then, so does everyone else. Next year there is reason for optimism again. We will have more salary cap space, will have several more draft picks, it is possible that Murray or Bray will come on like Nick Foles or Kirk Cousins and we can say goodbye to Alex and the need to pay big money for a QB like him. We need to keep Jamaal healthy and hope to pick up some decent talent on the waiver wire. Don't expect much this season. If we get lucky, great. 2015 will promise to have more hope if a few rookies step up. That's one man's view after watching the Chiefs for over 40 years. |

I've been saying 5-11 for a while and don't see a lot of reason to change that number.
