Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

Brady just signed a 3 year/27M extension. If they back up a Cassel sized Brinks truck for Alex Smith this whole organization needs to be burned to the ****ing ground and pissed on.

Of course they'll pay him alot, and they'll justify it by saying "look what he's done in SF, he's proven".

He's 27....he'll probably get a 2-3 year extension on his deal. And people will scream from the mountain tops that it's a good thing because it lowers his cap number for this year.

Jason Whitlock @WhitlockJason
I like what the Chiefs did. Alex Smith is an upgrade. Chiefs can trade top pick for additional picks and/or a starter or 2.

Basically, I'm a person who has been fed shit, and now that someone is potentially offering dog food instead, it looks really appetizing by comparison. |

I am satisfied with the pick, I was afraid you may get a potential star.. Carson Palmer is a better QB than Smith though... Just saying
