This guy is a ****ing moron. The Chiefs had 9 offensive possessions.

Also, most of the turnovers came when the Chiefs already had a comfortable lead, and were running the clock out. Two of the turnovers were returned for TD's. Should've had 7 more on the board if it weren't for that fluky fumble out the endzone.

Was it a great, or even good offensive perfomance? No, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this biased pillowbitergot wants to pretend. I bet he didn't shit on any of the Broncos wins last year because of their inept offense, especially one they won by 20 ****ing points.

Eh, I don't think so. Yards per catch puts some of the onus on your wrs, so I don't think it's a very good statistic.

The NFL is evolving into a dink and dunk league whether you like it or not, hence why the only other QB that is still relevant on that list isn't "poor". I guess you can count Fitz too, but his problem isn't YPC, it's INT's. If he protected the ball as well as Smith, he'd be a damn good QB.

Fisher loses leverage with his guy just under 2 seconds. You have to maintain your block for a minimum of 3 seconds. If fisher maintains leverage for another second, I believe Smith does hit that underneath route and then we are all here arguing about Smith not taking a chance down field on 3rd down to give his team a chance at extending the drive instead of settling for field goals. Either way, people here wouldn't have been happy. Ok... I'm out. I'm gonna get fired.

Pass pro is very hard to do, but easy to measure - maintain leverage for a minimum of 3 seconds.

Smith could maybe step up there and gain an extra second, but he is looking down the field past the line to gain, so rolling out right gives him a lot more options.

I equated the lack of scoring more with Andy Reid than with the offense on the field. Going conservative with a two score lead with a lot of time left on the clock is just begging the other team to come back and win it late. Exactly the same thing the Texans did against us the week prior. I hate that kind of mindset on the sidelines. Never ever let off the gas. Running up the score is much more important than running out the clock in today's game, when offenses can regularly move the ball 80 yards in 90 seconds. Or less.

as with anything good balance of stretching the defense but also not going bonkers with it. There has to be a balance there or you get the marty shit where the other team comes back. Also our Offensive line needs to grow a set of nuts and push the line where needed.

I can't believe there are people in here trying to argue that the offense isn't bad right now. It's one thing to say it's good enough for the defense to carry them (which it isn't, the defense isn't on that level), but to outright argue that there isn't a problem with the current offense is total denial.

Is it possible to win games with the current offense? Yes, it's possible. It's possible to make the playoffs and win playoff games and even win the Superbowl with the current offense. But the odds greatly improve if the offense is better than bottom 3rd of the league in nearly every statistical category.

I get how people might try and argue that the win totals over the last few seasons indicate that all is good. But the reality is Reid's Chiefs are playing the kind of football that will trend positive over a 16 game season but may not prepare the team to succeed in the single elimination tournament that is the nfl post season. We all saw the same thing in the Marty years; a formula that produces winning seasons but doesn't produce a championship caliber football team.
