I dunno... It's looking kinda 'meh' maybe?
They continue to **** with the timeline which is confusing. So what I see in this trailer is this is the second time they send the same dude back to keep Sarah Connor alive? Wait, wut?
Apparently terminators age as well? Weird but whatever.

The Terminators should age. Their skin is living tissue. Internally they remain the same.

I are cornfused. Dude comes back in the first movie and porks Sarah Connor to get Edward Furlong. Then the same dude comes back again, even though he's dead and Sarah Connor already knows him cuz of the furlong porking and she's already aware of where he's going to be. Wait... Ok. I got it. He has a twin? Maybe this is a Twins/Terminator remake and Danny DeVito will show up.

From my understanding, this is a reboot. The story that takes place is in an alternate timeline, although scenes from the original Terminator are seen as a 3rd party view.

So essentially, Kyle Reese is sent back in time and is expected to meet the Sarah Conner of the original Terminator with those same exact conditions. But once he arrives, everything he was told to expect is completely different, setting up a different future as well.

It sounds like a cool idea, I just hope it works. I think I mentioned either in this thread or a related thread, but Jason outright refused the role and wouldn't read the script. His wife read it, was blown away, and basically made him read it. IMO, he's great in everything and chooses roles wisely, so hopefully, it works.
