I just learned that in the original trilogy Vader's facemask is painted with alternating sections of silver. This picture shows an ANH helmet replica on the right and a ROTS replica helmet (which is all black) on the left.

You can see why they did it, the all-black helmet seems sort of flat and featureless in comparison.

The original helmet is more menacing too.

Not sure which thread to throw this in, so I'll just drop it here. Impressive mashup, and a nice little 5 minute escape....

That bad?

I'm just bored and skipped across that. It amazes me how much effort people put into videos like that.

Pretty solid editing job, not just cuts between different movies. Actually managed to key some characters into different movies.

Dumb but impressive.

Technically, it wasn't horrible. But the edits and the...

You know what?

**** it. That shit doesn't belong together, and that's dumbest goddamned idea I've seen all day.

I watch videos like that and come to the realization that there are so many people out there with entirely too much time on their hands.

Major spoiler just hit. I am not even going to read it as it concerns the fate of a major character.

Reputable source, or just more maybe-maybe not static?

You really might not want to read these spoilers if you’re on the fence. This isn’t rocky. This is verified as having been shot at Pinewood. These are scenes and the documented players in them. This information is very accurate and very broad. It isn’t from the script. This is the first spoiler I’ve had where I’ve known it was so apparently accurate I was floored by it. If you’re cool with it and know you’re going to watch this movie 100 times a year and the first time doesn’t matter, but the longevity of the piece, like myself, sit down because you’re going to have a heart breaking day.

I’ve never jumped on this rumor because it seemed too easy. It also seemed all too likely. This is sort of a given but uttered as an assumption. We’ve seen people guess this without any inside information at all and it has made it nearly impossible for me to ever take any of it too seriously on the rumor-front.

Today that has all changed. For me, I am now in the camp about this being true. A source that has been proven not once or twice, but hundreds of times has documents proving this prevalent rumor. If there’s anything more to it, I can’t say. I’m only sticking to the documented facts on this.

Lol, I can't click that. My spoilering of this movie apparently has its limits.

Spoiler that I had already considered a foregone conclusion. Will be effective if it's real.
